Thanks for visiting our new blog! Now to tell you all something about ourselves…

This blog has been created by Kerry & Rob Lowe, parents to Isla (aged 8) and Bobby (aged 3).  We’re a typical everyday family living on the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border.  We both work full time during the week but try – wherever possible – to fill our weekends with fun family time out and about in our fab country.  We’re always on the lookout for tips, cheap deals and new places to visit, so thought it would be nice to share our travels and thrifty finds with other people too!

We will try to give you honest and fair reviews of any places that we visit – both from a grown up perspective and that of our little ones.  Hopefully this will help you to decide whether or not to add our destinations to your ‘must visit’ lists.

We’re very new to blogging (as you can probably tell), so any suggestions for our site are more than welcomed.
